I am using range bars for trading - standard 6 ticks with range bar predictor to be able to see the boundaries of each candle since I get entry signals on a new bar open. When using SC version 1928 CQG WebAPI (AMP) range bars are behaving different and 'odd' way. The current bar is stretching (jumps) above range bar predictor high and then it is corrected a new candle open price is drawn While with version 1880 GAIN Capital the range bar chart is behaving correct which is: once market ticks 1 tick above range bar predictor high the current candle is immediately and properly closed and a new bar is started being drawn from its open price I am attaching a short video clip of the odd behavior so you can see. You can see the green candle is stretched above the upper predictor line. I am testing this setup with v1928 and CQG WebApi. Maybe there is some new settings that affects this in Sierra but because I get a signal once range bar candle closes this odd stretching confuses me ... Date Time Of Last Edit: 2019-06-07 13:26:28
