Candlestick Fill - Transparent

I'm using charts with a black background. I would like to have a Up candlestick with a green outline/wicks and a transparent (hollow) fill and a Down candlestick with a red outline/wicks and fill. I can do most of that but can't get a transparent (hollow) background on the Up candlesticks which means the Up candlesticks don't look right on lighter chart background colours. I set the Up candlestick colour fill to the same as the chart background (black) but when the candlesticks are displayed on top of a lighter chart background colour (i use the Time Range Highlight study to display pre/post market times) it doesn't look good. Would it be possible to add a transparent option to the 'Graphic settings > Candlestick Up/Down Fill' settings so the background fill is transparent? Unless there's another way around that issue. I don't think the Hollow candlesticks option allows me to do the above. Thanks

ok i fouind the solution: Go to CHARTS > CHARTS SETTINGS > CANDLESTICKS BARS HOLLOW ( in the GRAPH DRAW TYPE area on the right side )

User162290 hollow candlestick doesn't work on a down-solid body fill with red. I am looking for the same traditional candle style as user jimskin described. So far none. Padraic

There is not a timeframe for the feature. This is true for all our features. Apart from the big items that we are working on, like the CME Direct Order Routing, and the new windows throughout Sierra Chart, we just can't say when we will be able to get to these smaller items. We are slowly rolling out new dialog windows that are not dependent on the Microsoft Windows code. You will find these windows mostly in the Settings right now, but they will eventually replace all the windows in the system.
