For the second time in 2 weeks, I tried to open the spreadsheet but nothing opened. The file name and modified time is listed in the 'open spreadsheet window' but selecting and clicking opens nothing. What the hey happened. (twice now)I opened & closed it this am several times. Is it operator error or what? I clicked 'save/yes' when closing. By the way is it necessary to click yes if no changes are made?

Go to the CW menu. Do you see the Spreadsheet listed there? If so, select it from the list. It could be offscreen. By the way is it necessary to click yes if no changes are made? No it is not necessary.

Yes it is available in CW but the file listed in File> open spreadsheet> file will not open any spreadsheet. I minimized SC and it is not underneath. I can use CW ok but can you tell me why it will not open through the file menu?

It is opening. It is just not visible. After selecting it from the CW menu select Window >> Maximize to bring it into view.
