Is it possible to configure Sierra not to download historical data from remote feed for specific symbols? I use custom calculated values written directly in *.scid datafile so it stores like this for example: SPY.scid SPY-INDICATOR1.scid SPY-INDICATOR2.scid (external proprietary software do the calculations). and so on for other symbols. And when switching between SPY/XLF/XLE/... Sierra always try load history data for all respective ***-INDICATOR1/2/3/X symbols and it delays history load for actual symbol - im trying to avoid this. Sierra loads 1 symbol history at a time as i understand, so i need a way to avoid this custom symbols load attempts. // FYI last chapter here mentions remap to alternate datafeed: Chart Data and Chart Data Files // can i remap this symbols to <No-service> feed? // where remap procedure is documented? No it is not possible to prevent the historical data download but maybe we could add a symbol setting to control this which would be set through Global Settings >> Symbol Settings.
