Have I a wrong setting? Notice in the attachment a new "Up" column of "o's" that I would think should be blue x's. When the column is complete, the up red o's turn from red o's to blue x's. The attachment has two examples of a regular occurrence (but not uniformly "always") on all my P&F charts. If just glancing at chart price location, it can be a source of confusion until closer inspection is made. |

I have been using PF .5x1 (1/2 tick) Study in conjunction with all PF charts for the additional pattern granularity it seems to provide (bottom of attachment chart comparison). Since all parameters you have referred to except "Do not use the Point and Figure Chart study" have been adhered to (see attachment), the PF Study must be the cause of rising red o's, as in the default "Minute" PF style chart of attachment (item 1), during occasional incomplete columns. I will test this tonight. Thank you for your help.

Since you are using the study and since the underlying data is 1 minute, the last Point and Figure bar can change and also get removed. This is normal and should already be documented. If you use the new Point and Figure Bar Period Type you will not have this problem. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
