Anyone know how to automate the JDT Better Volume indicator? There is an input to turn zero to 1 that gives off an alert on Volume Climax Up (buy) or Volume Climax down(sell). I would like to use spreadsheet trading for this, but I'm told this isn't possible.

Even if you set those to 1, they do not output a 1 to the spreadsheets study. It's not possible to use a spreadsheet study to automate those alerts, unless you know the algo for them. |

Tom I respect that your your spreadsheet knowledge is much greater than mine will ever be, but could one not use the "Volume Climax Up/Down flags(SG.8 and SG.9) to trigger a trade in a spreadsheet?

Well, that's embarrassing. When I first looked at this, I didn't see any outputs. Yes, you could create automation formulas based on five subgraphs: SG8, SG9, SG10, SG11, SG12. And you don't have to turn on those alerts with those input settings. (To see what a study outputs, add the Spreadsheet Study study and look in columns AA and above.) is there a "Better Volume" indicator for Sierra Chart that can paint the candlestick bars by the colour of the indicator?
