Setting current chart as default for SetChartStudyValues

sc.Input[].SetChartStudyValues() takes 2 parameters, the first being the chart number. In a study, I currently set it to 1 in the code, then change it as appropriate. I would like it to automatically set it to "current" chart number to which it is being applied. How can I do this? Thanks!
