Hi, We operate a separate Sierra Chart installation containing a registered startup chartbook with ACSIL custom studies. For a controlled diagnostic session, we need to guarantee that no startup chartbook or custom study executes before an operator can select Safe Mode and disable Open Files on Startup. The documented procedure requires canceling a pending automatic login and selecting these controls on the Login window. Is there an officially supported method to establish both controls before the Sierra Chart executable begins its login/startup sequence? If not, is there a supported procedure for preventing automatic login or chartbook loading without first starting the installation normally or manually editing Sierra4.config? We need to preserve the existing installation configuration for evidence comparison and avoid custom-study execution during the diagnostic session. Thanks, Richard |

There is not a way to stop the automatic login. The only way to stop it is to select the "Cancel" button when the initial login window comes up. There are options to control automatic chartbook opening. Refer to the following: General Settings Window: Open Files On Startup (Global Settings >> General Settings >> General >> Startup) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
