Currently I have a chart with the TPO study and the volume at price study selected...the chart session times are 09:30:00 - 15:59:59 and use evening session which is set 18:00:00 - 09:29:59...I have both the tpo and the volume at price both set to yes for - "new period at day session start when using evening session and exclude evening session profiles except for last day"...but the lines for the point of control and value area high and value area low from the volume at price study are showing for multiple days not just the last day...i have tried to change the settings of the volume at price study for number of period back to reference and number of days to calculate, yet the poc and vah and val are showing for days other than the current overnight session... ..attached are the tpo settings and the volume at price settings and a picture of the chart...can you please advise...

The lines from the POC, VAH, and VAL have no relationship to the inputs that control whether the evening session is shown or not. If you have these lines set to display (which you do, as you have the "Draw Mode" set to "Volume Profiles & POC, VAH, VAL, VWAP Lines"), then you will have these lines for each profile.

If you then also have the options to extend these items, then they will extend as per those settings.

Are you trying to accomplish something specific? If so, what exactly is it?

There is not an easy way to get the POC, VAH, and VAL for just a single session.

The best way to do this would be to use the "Volume Value Area Lines" study to get the POC, VAH, and VAL as individual subgraphs for the periods you want, and then use the Spreadsheet Study to pull out the specific data you want and display it for just that period you want.
