Hello Sierra Chart Support, I am requesting a review of a trading incident that occurred on September 21, 2026 at approximately 8:00 PM Pacific Time while trading through Ironbeam. The primary account involved was account 23214425. I was also using Sierra Chart to manage/copy trades across four additional Ironbeam accounts. During an active position, I repeatedly attempted to flatten the position. Sierra Chart returned the following message multiple times: “Unable to Flatten/Reverse. Position does not exist.” Despite those messages, the account appeared to remain financially exposed and the live P/L continued changing. The loss reached approximately $300 at the worst point before I was able to regain control of the situation. I manually closed the other accounts and contacted Ironbeam by phone to verify that all accounts were flat. I have attached a Word document containing the relevant section of the Sierra Chart log, including the repeated flatten errors and surrounding order/position messages. I am also including a screenshot of the same section. Please review this activity and determine: * Why Sierra Chart believed no position existed when the account still appeared exposed. * Whether there was a position synchronization problem between Sierra Chart and Ironbeam/Teton routing. * Whether the repeated “Received first Trade Positions report from DTC server” and position-update messages around this period are relevant. * Whether the trade-copying configuration contributed to the failure. * Why the Flatten command was rejected repeatedly. * What can be done to prevent this from happening again. Ironbeam has also been notified and has been asked to review its records for the same period. Thank you, Ricardo Fernandez |

Where were you seeing this: and the live P/L continued changing.
The definitive reference for a position is in Trade >> Trade Positions Window. One thing we notice when looking at the log is we see order activity for: Orders 2026-09-21 20:33:05.815254 2026-09-21 20:33:05.815254 NQZ26_FUT_CME And then you try to flatten a position for a different symbol: Orders 2026-09-21 20:33:42.190639 2026-09-21 20:33:42.190637 MNQZ26_FUT_CME MNQZ26_FUT_CME[M] 1 Min #7 | User order entry Anyway, there is not sufficient information here. You need to follow through the instructions here: Trade Activity Log Analysis: Support Assisted Trade Activity Log Analysis We would find it very doubtful they would pay any attention to that kind of request: Ironbeam has also been notified and has been asked to review its records for the same period.
