I am looking to reference the volume / sec subgraph in the number bars calculated values study to plot a candlestick of volume / second in a chart region below the main price graph. I don't see candlestick as a draw style though... bar draw style ends up showing a bar up to the current or closing value of volume / sec, but looking for a candlestick draw style that would show a wick and thus a visual of the max volume / sec reached as well as the close value of volume / sec. Is this possible in some other way? Thanks. |

There is no direct way to do this in Sierra Chart. The "Volume per Second" that is displayed in the Numbers Bars Calculated Values is the total volume of the bar divided by the number of seconds that make up the bar. So essentially an average volume per second. To get the Maximum value along with the closing value, you would need to analyze the underlying data for whatever period you are wanting. To do this, you would have to create a custom study. Refer to the following: Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL): Introduction For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
