I cannot figure out why it is not letting me submit an order when a trade is printing against me. I do know it IS a setting I changed, just cannot figure what that setting was. Also it is definately not general trade settings / Use risk manager mode as this is set to No.

If you are having trouble getting a position to be closed through Sierra Chart, then the first thing you should do is call your broker to close it for you.

In terms of Sierra Chart, there is no single setting that does not allow for additional orders to be submitted if a trade is in a loss.

The closest thing that exists in Sierra Chart is the "Global Profit/Loss Management", which is supposed to flatten your positions if you reach a certain Loss Limit, and then will lock your trading for a set time. Refer to the following:
Global Profit/Loss Management

But since you state that the position is still open, it doesn't sound like the "Global Profit/Loss Management" is the case. But it could be that there was an issue with flattening the position and that is why it is still open. If this is the situation, then you need to call your broker to close out that position for you.

Also, even if you did have "Risk Manager Mode" enabled, you would still be able to close a position. It does not allow a new one, but it will allow you to close an existing position.

If none of the above explains what is occurring, then we would need to see your "Trade Service Log" and see if there is information from your trading service that says why you are not able to submit an order. Follow these instructions to get us your Trade Service Log:
