My Sim Account Works Great Until It Doesn't

My Sim Account works great when I first launch it. After about 30 minutes it begins to act up. Either the price ladder freezes, or I go to Flatten a position and take profit and it says the position doesn't exist. The Flatten button does nothing, but after a few minutes, the amount in my Daily P/L changes so the position did exist. Is this a common problem? Should I re-install the software, or just wait until the new version becomes available? I use Denali Data. Thank you very much for any help you can provide. Blessings DeWayne |

This is definitely NOT a common problem. Are you using the built-in Simulation Mode (i.e. Trade >> Simulation Mode On is enabled) or are you using one of the "Trading Evaluator" options? If you are using the "Trading Evaluator", which one are you connecting to? I'm using the built in Simulation mode. It just happened again. The grey shaded area is still moving up and down, but the little white box that's normally around current price is frozen. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the data feed but the only way I've found to fix it is, exiting Sierra and then reopening Sierra and it goes right back to working just fine. BTW - thank you very much for your quick reply / I appreciate it very much! Blessings DeWayne |

There is no image attached, so we do not know what you are referring to in terms of the "grey shaded area" and the "white box" (although we assume by White Box you are referring to the current traded price in the price ladder). But what you are stating is implying that you are having a data problem. What is one symbol for which you are having an issue? And please get us your Message Log for that symbol by following these instructions: Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log Close all of the Chartbooks with "File >> Close All Chartbooks". Open a single chart for the symbol you have an issue with through "File >> Find Symbol". Tell us that symbol of the chart. Tell us about *one* symbol only. Disconnect from the data feed with "File >> Disconnect". Connect to the data feed with "File >> Connect to Data Feed". After the connection and after about 10 seconds, provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions: Support Board Posting Information: How to Post Your Message Log (Required In Some Cases) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I'm sorry I didn't explain properly. This isn't a charting issue, it's an issue with my DOM. The white box I referred to, you are correct, that is where price currently is. The numbers on the Bid and Ask side of my DOM continue to update just fine but the white box stops moving and continuosly updating what the current price is. On Monday I'll grab a screenshot and post it for you when it happens. Thanks |

Just the Dom / F.US.EPU26 / and again it's on the built-in Simulator Dom. I just fired it up for the day. If it happens again, I will post a screenshot, and I'll check out that link you posted. Thanks very much. |

"Jenny, I'm not a smart man, but I know what love is". FG I appreciate your time and effort, but like Forest G., I'm not smart enough to upload the images. Lord knows I've tried. I've taken up too much of your time already. Thanks again. Blessings DeWayne |
