Hello Sierra Chart Support, I noticed that the Cumulative Delta Volume (CVD) study appears to work correctly on futures, but produces incorrect results when applied to individual stocks. I have attached three screenshots for comparison: Figure 1: ES futures — CVD appears correct. Figure 2: AAPL — CVD appears incorrect. Figure 3: GOOG — CVD appears incorrect. What makes you assume that AAPL/GOOD CVD is incorrect?

For the time being, use -NQTV symbols for Cumulative Delta-Volume. Those are always going to be the most accurate and precise. Refer to: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Nasdaq TotalView Data Feed Notes There may very well be a problem with NASDAQ Stocks, non-Totalview symbols. We do not see any issue with CTA data (NYSE and AMEX). We have started to look at this and no definite conclusions so far. We do not know the reason. It could be because fractional trade quantities are not precisely represented being they are rounded off. We are not entirely sure. That will be resolved in about two months.
