SC2929

I have a chartbook with a large number of charts (around 50).
Up to and including SC2922, when loading this chartbook, just a second after opening it and opening a few chart windows, it would become unresponsive for about 15-20 seconds, depending on how much data would have to be loaded. The operating system would recognize the program as unresponsive and open a popup window to optionally kill the application. After that, SC would become responsive again and continue loading the charts with the usual white rectangle in each chart window. Further loading would then take another 45 seconds or so. Total loading time ca. 01:10.

Since 2929 now, all of the above still occurs, but briefly after returning from the unresponsive period it now goes into a second unresponsive period for ca. 60 seconds, depending on how much data is to be loaded. This time is now added to the previous total loading time, i.e. after returning from the second unresponsive period SC will continue loading the charts in the same way it previously did after the first unresponsive period. Total loading time now almost doubled.

I have never experienced such a "second unresponsive period" before. It is reproducible.

The msglog does not contain any direct clue why the chartbook takes so long to load. The only noticeable thing is that the message log now contains "time gaps" of 10 seconds or more while the chartbook was loading, whereas with SC2922 the messages from loading the chartbook would be in a tight sequence.

After loading the chartbook, I could not identify any operational deficiencies.

Just want to mention this strange new behavior here. I could live with it, but it seems something is no longer working as before.
