I'm trading SI chart with "Trade and Current Quote Symbol" set to SIC. I have referenced this support thread Trading 100 oz SIC while data is for 5000 oz SI silver future contracts and it was helpful. But I have noticed that the closing ends on some bars are off by a tick in some cases. Eg. if I use my crosshair and attempt to touch the tip of certain bars- some bars ends cannot be touched with the horizontal crosshair- it is either 1 tick above or below the crosshair. It appears the bar tip is ending up in-between the area of two consecutive ticks.

Current settings set to:
Price Display Format- 0.001
Tick Size- 0.01000

Are my settings correct? Should this result in bar tips (ends of bars) completing between ticks on this chart?

Thank you for your help

What you are seeing is correct. The issue is that SI and SIC have different Tick Sizes. Specifically the following:
- SI: 0.005
- SIC: 0.01

Since you are trading SIC, you need to have the Tick Size set to "0.01", or else you could end up entering trades at prices that are not valid and end up being rejected.

But, since SI actually has a Tick Size half that of SIC, you will have prices that are at that interval in your chart.

There is no perfect workaround due to what we stated above with possible trade rejections.
