Could you please help me ensure I am doing this correctly. I have symbol set to SI and Trade and Current Quote Symbol set to SIC. I have use as Trade Only Symbol set to Yes. I am wondering what other changes I need to make so that I can trade the SIC while tracking SI data. The minimum price fluctuation for the SI is 0.005 while the minimum price fluctuation for SIC is 0.01 and each tick move in SIC has a value of $1.00.

Many thanks,
Edward

Given the difference in the Tick Size, you will not be able to place trades at intervals of 0.005 - you will be limited to 0.01.

The only change you need to make is to the "Currency Value per Tick" so that it is set properly for the settings in the chart. You will need to take into account the tick size difference as well. Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Updating Currency Value per Tick for Trade Symbol

Thank you for your response and your help.

I had had the Currency Value per Tick set to the proper value for the 100oz silver contract which was $1.00. It still was not properly calculating ticks and profit on the chart.

I made another change and I just want to check with you that what I did was correct and won't mess with another part of the system. I changed Chart>Chart Settings>Symbol Settings>Tick Size to 0.01 (which is the tick size of the 100oz silver) from 0.005 (which is the tick size of the regular 5000 oz silver contract) and it appears to be properly calculating tick size and profit. Is what I did okay?

Thanks again and wishing you all the best,
Edward

Sorry, we thought the Tick Sizes were the other way around. Since the SIC is the larger tick size, you would want to set the chart for SI to be at that Tick Size (0.01).

This would then mean that the Currency Value per Tick of 1.00 will give you what you want.
