Hi Sierra Support Team,

I would like to place my Volume Bars (from Volume Study) onto Region 1, along with my chart - to save vertical space and fit more chart space in (no need for a full Region 2 for Volume Bars).

I have got close - however, the tallest VolumeBar takes up 100% of the height of Region 1.

Am I able to compress this to say 30% of Region 1's vertical height?
- Changing the "Scale Padding Percentage" under Scale Settings to max (99.8) had no effect

To do what you want you have to use the Left Side Scale in order to get the Volume study as you want it, then you can remove the Left Side Scale.

Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Use Left Side Scale (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Scale menu)

So you will enable the view of the Left Side Scale, and set the "Volume" study to use that scale. Then set the "Volume" study scale to be "Automatic" or "Independent". Then you can adjust the left side scale to get the Volume study displayed as you want. Then you can remove the Left-Side scale.

After setting the left scale so it looks good and using CTRL+Left Click on the left scale to move the volume bars to the bottom of chart region 1 and then removing the left-side scale things seem ok. That's until you move your main chart around by left clicking or adjusting the right scale, which most people do all the time. Then the volume bars move around and change size. That's not the intended result.

Is there a way to simply have the volume bars at the bottom of chart region 1 and have an appropriate scale - like every other platform has their volume bars?

Set the Volume scale to be "Independent".
