CME cost discrepency

This morning I went to renew my CME Denali data, and it said it would cost $13.50.
However, when I renewed it, it changed to $27.
Why is that?
Also I have friends with the same subscription for half the price. Around $6 or $7.
Why is that?

The reason why your price was $27.00 instead of $13.50 is that you have the option for "2 systems" enabled. This allows you to get the data to two different computers at the same time. When you have this option set to "2 systems", then you have to pay 2x the exchange fees.

Your friends do not have the same subscription. There are various exchange options for the CME Group ranging from $2.00 to $145.00. They just have different exchanges selected from what you have. And there is also the fact that you have "2 systems", which doubles your exchange fees.
