Is there a way to drag or resize a without changing height

Dear Support I've never found an way to lock the height before dragging or resizing a rectangle to change its width (length) without the current method in most cases changing its height at the same time. On platforms I used many years back there was often a lock feature such as shift then select object etc. Is there a similar method I've missed? Many thanks. |

There is not a way to do this. When you modify a drawing, you are selecting one of the Anchor points, and for a rectangle, these are are the corners, so you are moving in both directions. We have noted this as a Feature Request, to have some way to modify a rectangle without changing the height. We can not say when we would get to any particular request.
