Hello, I am having an issue involving Sierra Chart's Spreadsheet Trading study calculating theoretical signals based on formula logic, regardless of whether orders are sent to the market. Because I have formulas inside the spreadsheet designed to halt trading after "X" number losses, the over-counting is causing signals to prematurely not fire as a result. Please advise as to if there is a setting that needs to be modified so that actual wins/losses are counted as opposed to formulaic trades that were never actually filled. Thanks in advance for your assistance. Darius |

The "Spreadsheet System for Trading" has an information item named "Total Trades" that gives you the total number of submitted trades for the symbol of the chart on which that Spreadsheet System is applied. You should be able to use this to get what you want. There are also fields for "Winning Trades" and "Losing Trades". Refer to the following: Spreadsheet Systems, Alerts and Automated Trading: Total Trades (read-only) [v1:J35, v2:J56] For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
