Can't change width on TPO volume profiles

I have read multiple similar posts but cannot get my volume profiles on my TPO chart to look right. I am trying to make the width of each volume profile significantly wider

So far I have tried

volume by price study
volume graph period: Based on TPO chart
Maximum Volume Bar Width Type: Window width / Period length / automatic (I have tried all 3 settings)
Maximum Volume Bar Width: I have tried small to large numbers 30,70,100,200 but neither value changes anything

I have also tried setting the independent volume profile for tpo chart to YES but this pins the volume profile to the right side bar

The width of the Volume Profile when used with a TPO chart is automatically set by the program and not user-controlled.

The only option for making the size wider is to change the bar spacing to make both the TPO and Volume profiles larger.

how does one change the bar spacing? is that a study setting or graphic?

The concept is the same regardless of whether you are displaying bars or a TPO profile. Refer to the following:
