Hi, I get data from Denali and pay the monthly fees for: CME non-professional top-of-book + NYMEX with Market Depth for non-professional Trading accounts for 2 systems; normally I connect to Rithmic Direst DTC and trade with a prop firm; once a month I connect to my funded account (Clearing: AMP) and choose Teton CME Routing as Service to keep my non-pro status. Today I connected to AMP+Teton with the idea of trading with my real account but I discovered that I am actually getting real time data (with Market Depth) of CL but DELAYED data (10 mins) of GC and MGC; the strange thing is that of GC+MGC I get Market Depth data too (however delayed) even if I do not pay for it... What can I do to get top-of-book data in real time? |

Gold (GC and MGC) is traded on the COMEX exchange. You do not have an exchange active for the COMEX data. Refer to the following: Denali Exchange Data Feed: Changing Denali Exchange Data Feed Exchange Selections Keep in mind that the "Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX)..." options give you the data for all 4 exchanges for the price of 3. So if you are going to add the COMEX, you would be served to activate one of the "Full CME Group..." options. Depending on what you need for Market Depth, you can setup the "Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) for Non-Professional Trading Accounts" which does not have market depth, and then activate just the one or two exchange options for those exchanges for which you do want market depth data. But, keep all of this in mind relative to what is described in the link given above. OK, but now I'm wondering why, when I connect to Rithmic and receive data from Denali, I get both CL (with depth) and GC (top-of-book only) in real time? I'm a bit confused - please explain, thanks. Anyway: what should I enable to receive GC+MGC data in real time (top-of-book only, for two systems)? Should I then cancel the monthly fee ($4) for CME non-professional top-of-book? |

You are getting CL with Market Depth because you have the "NYMEX with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts" as one of your active exchanges with our Denali Exchange Data Feed. You are getting the data for GC in real-time, because that is coming from Rithmic, since you do NOT have the NYMEX exchange active with our Denali Exchange Data Feed. For Gold (GC and MGC) if you want this without the Market Depth, then we recommend activating the "COMEX Non-Professional Top-of-Book". This will cost you $4.00 at this time to get the data through the end of April. If this configuration is what you want (CME and COMEX without Market Depth, and NYMEX with Market Depth), then this is the cheapest option.
