Rithmic Servers Missing for new Tradeify Prop Firm Connections

Hi

I've been trading Prop Firms or a long time now on Sierra Chart through Rithmic connections. Mostly TPT, Lucid and Apex. Each of those companies either has their own servers available (Lucid, Apex) or works under the generic "Rithmic Paper Trading" server.

Tradeify which is one of the biggest player in prop finally released support for Rithmic and Sierra Chart a couple of days ago. I got some accounts, however I notice that even though Tradeify shows up in the systems list when login into R Trader Pro, inside Sierra Chart there are no servers set up for them to be able to connect.

I wrote to Tradeify support and they claimed since SC is a third party provider that I should contact them directly. Personally I feel it's Tradeify's responsibility to set this up with SC to make sure they offer a product that is working. But just wanted to drop a message and see if anyone from SC itself could shed light on how the process would be to get these Tradeify servers added into the Rithmic list to be able to use it.

Thanks

That list of servers is managed by Rithmic. We get the information from them, and then update the list. So Rithmic needs to add these to the list that they provide to us.

It’s great that Tradeify is finally including Rithmic/Sierra Chart. I found Tradeify on the Server List in the Data/Trade Service Settings but it’s not in alphabetical order, it is at the end of the list after Tradesea.

Good to know. They were not there before when I originally posted, but that means they have just been added.

I have a problem with Tradeify...i contacted already the support and went through ALL steps they provided me without success. Last answer was to contact SC directly as from their end everything is working fine.
I come from TheFuturesDesk but they got bought by Topstep. The point is, connecting to Rithmic with TFD credentials works...the Tradeify credentials dont. Both for Rithmic.

The same credentials work with Rithmic Desktop and Web App.

The only thing we can do is point you to the following:
Rithmic Trading Platform Service: Permission Denied Resolution Procedure

As noted in the link above, the error is from Rithmic. We can not solve it - we have just learned a few things about what might be causing it, which is what is written up.

User138602:

I don't know where in the world you are located but for me here in the USA, I don't have any problems connecting a Tradeify account using Sierra Charts with a Rithmic feed. Here is how I have my info set:

Go to Global Settings > Data/Trade Service Settings then for Server (List) I used Tradeify-Chicago Area-Aggregated, you can select non-aggregated also if you want. This aggregated or non-aggregated choice is entirely up to you, in my opinion.
Now all you have to do is enter your Trading Username and your Trading Password credentials. You will find these credentials in the Tradeify dashboard. Since both the account number and the password Tradeify setup for my credentials are long, I just copied my Username and my Password and then pasted them into their respective fields in Sierra Charts.

Then, I select ok and then File > save my entire chartbook. I then just disconnect from the current server I am on and reconnect. You could also just be sure to save this new info as stated above and then exit the software and then start it back up using the chartbook of your choice. Hope that helps.

This issue has already been resolved.

At the time when I made the original post tradeify said that they released support for arrhythmic, but they hadn’t yet activated their servers. But they did show a few days later.

They now show on the rhithmic connections list so there’s no longer any issue
