Morning. Today I placed an order which filled at 6660.75 (MES) and I exited at 6669.00 using the flatten postions button. The orders were filled but do not show in the DPL figure. Would you clarify for me please why the order has not translated to DPL?
Thanks

Thanks. I understand how the DPL is supposed to work, but my DPL is not correctly adding up the trades in the Trade orders window

The image you provided shows a chart DPL of -13.75.

If this is not the correct value, as some trades are not being included, then this would imply that the Start Date/Time for loading order fills for that chart is set to a time where those fills are not included. Hence, the previous reference to the Help with Daily Profit/Loss.

As long as the order fills are being loaded for that chart, then the Profit/Loss will reflect those order fills for that chart.

Hi John.

Thanks for your reply. In the screenshot, you can see the orders are filling, not from open trade to closed trade, but something else. They are filling from previous trade close to current trade open, and the last close position is not included, so when I am flat, the last order fill has not calculated up to last close position, therefore the DPL value does not reflect the trades on the day. What setting can I adjust to correct this?

Either you are missing an Order Fill, or your starting date/time for loading order fills is set to a time when you were not flat, so you are starting with a closing fill, which then offsets everything.

The Help with Daily Profit/Loss goes through all of this. Please go through the items in the following documentation to determine the solution for your situation:
