Those two kind of charts can't hold "Bar High-Low Down" and "Bar High-Low Up" the way user sets in Graphics Settings-Global
exp.
you set to 5; after saving and closing then opening CB again you get 16 (P&F)
you set to 16; after saving and closing then opening CB again you get 5 (flex RENKO)
also
colors were mismatch in GS-Global and matching in GS-Chart

Sorry if I am doing something wrong to save it
Please let me know is it on my side

Thank you

What exactly are you setting to "5"? And then where are you seeing it set to "16"?

We need more information on what exactly you are doing.

colors were mismatch in GS-Global and matching in GS-Chart

These are two completely separate items. If an item is changed in one of them, then that will not reflect in the other. The only way to make a connection between these is with the options for "Copy to Global" and "Copy from Global" in "Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart".

sorry...

was referring to the "Width" that controls wick's width
color issue: "Color" tab that controls color mismatching the color of "Bar High-Low Up/Down"

hopefully this helps

in short:
width of wick can't be preserved when you set it to one value; after saving and closing/opening CB you are getting wick's width changed from what you set it to
just tested and is repeatable on my side all the time

Where are you changing the "Bar High-Low Down" width? Which window - Graphics Settings - Global or Graphics Settings - Chart? And where are you viewing it when you state that it changes?

We do not see the Width value changing when we modify it in either "Graphics Settings" area.

"Color" tab that controls color mismatching the color of "Bar High-Low Up/Down"

We do not know what the issue is. What is mismatched?

I created Flex RENKO
All graphics Settings are done through GLOBAL SETTINGS-->GRAPHIC SETTINGS-GLOBAL where I set "BAR HIGH-LOW UP/DOWN" WIDTH to 16
Use Global Settings in Chart Graphics is "checked"
After saving that CB closing and opening again Width changes to diff. width

If this is not enough then we good
Enjoy weekend

We want to verify that you are changing the setting in "Global Settings >> Graphics Settings - Global", closing the chartbook and reopening it, and then you are looking at "Global Settings >> Graphics Settings - Global"? Or are you looking at "Chart >> Graphics Settings - Chart"?

We tried the situation where we modified the Graphics Settings - Global, saved and closed the chartbook, then opened it again - and the width of the "Bar High-Low Down" stayed the same.

If you are looking at the "Graphics Settings - Global" for the before and after, then it sounds like your "Sierra4.config" file is not being updated for the changes to the graphics settings. The only item we can think of for why this would occur is a lack of drive space to save out the updated file. Check your drive space and make sure you have space wherever Sierra Chart is saving to.

The chart type would have no impact on the Graphics Settings - especially when you are changing the Global Graphics settings. Even with the chart graphics settings, the type of chart would not cause things to change in the settings.

Are you using any special study to get the Flex Renko? Are you actually looking at the width of the wick and not opening the graphics settings itself when you see the change?

You are phenomenal John and SC-SUPPORT

I really do right way and not mixing Global with Chart Settings
Funny I stated it is easily repeatable then I wanted to attach the images but everything worked (wicks width preserved as well as color of the wick)
Also just wanted to fyi Team for possible bug; it takes 10 seconds to bring wick's width to desirable thickness; doesn't bother me a bit

Color issue is funky one
Let's say I open P&F Chart controled by Global Graphics Setting
Those X's and O's are thick with right colors I set for X and O
Then I go to GG Settings to change the width of body of simbols X,O let's say from 16 to 6 and what I see are different colors set that control colors of simbols; meaning
I ignore colors that are for instance Blue for X and Green for O because simbols are in colors I wanted to be (Cayen and Magenta) and adjust width to 6 (all in Global) and everything works fine
Then just for fun I go to check Graphics Settings-Charts (with checked option for Global G Settings in control) and what I see is right colors (Cayen and Magenta)
Just to be sure that Chart G Settingsis not interfering with GGSettings I change those colors and they do NOT change colors of X,O
All this is happening just to P&F and Flex Renko; HA smoothed,Time all good
Well sorry to bother you guys with all this
If all this goes on/off I will recreate new ones from scratch
In the end again thank you guys so much for outstanding work you doing
