Orders on NGH26 / MNGH26 are being rejected with: “Current date is beyond LastTradingDateForSymbol: 2026-01-20”. This appears to be an incorrect/stale contract last trading date being enforced. Symbol was reselected, but rejection persists. Can you confirm if there is a known issue or required refresh for CME Natural Gas contracts via Teton? |

The last trading date for that symbol is set as January 20, 2026. This is set by your broker, so you would need to ask them about this date.

Hi there, Its actually for MNGG26. Sorry my bad at the top. This was the answer from AMP. Mike "The Teton system does not allow trades in deliverable products 7 days before expiration." Me "Ok so this is a Teton issue?" Mike Leska says: 100%. Just confirmed with them. Can you please advise? NG/MNG volume is still on the G contract. The H contract is maybe passing today but all the action was on G today. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2026-01-21 18:48:40

Usual bunch of nonsense we would expect: Mike
"The Teton system does not allow trades in deliverable products 7 days before expiration." Me "Ok so this is a Teton issue?" Mike Leska says: 100%. Just confirmed with them. They never confirmed anything with us, and if it is disallowing trading in a particular product 7 days before expiration, only the clearing firm can set that 7 days. Interesting, how their support are masters of deception. Telling outright lies in order to make themselves look good for whatever reason. And really we could care less what they have to say. It does not matter to us if they want to lie, and make a problem look like ours when it is not, it does not matter to us. Anyway, all of this is beside the point . They just simply will not let you trade that product seven days before the expiration. This is just simply how it is and you have to accept that. We need to make a correction to the above. The clearing firm has the ability to set two different methods for the last trading date. They can use the official date from the exchange and then set a number of days before that date to disallow trading. Or they can use the typical rollover rule, set by Sierra Chart for the last trading day and they can also set a number of days before that to disallow trading. We do not know what AMP uses. If they are using the typical rollover rule set by Sierra Chart then trading would have been disallowed January 19. Possibly it could be January 20 but we would have to do a more in-depth examination of the code to see how all of that works. And they can also modify that date as well by disallowing trading a number of specified number of days earlier. Nevertheless they did not confirm anything with us. And we do not know where that 7 days comes from . We do not see it anywhere, in Sierra Chart default settings for rollover rules for natural gas. We just see the default rollover rule, of 9 business days before the contract month. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
