v2862 - Background windows showing when changing chartbooks

I updated to version 2862 from 2813 today.

I use F7 and F8 to move back and forth between chartbooks quickly. I have 4 windows in each of 2 chartbooks.

2 of the windows in each chartbook were always set to be hidden by the other 2 windows. But now every time I move between chartbooks, the 2 background windows move to the foreground over the 2 windows that I had set to be the foreground.

Then I select the 2 windows that should be in the foreground, hiding the other 2 windows as they should be. I move to the other chartbook and back. And the background windows are now again in the foreground.

This makes it impossible to quickly toggle between chartbooks.

Is there a new setting I need to set for background windows?

When you state that the other charts were set to be "Hidden" what exactly do you mean? Are they actually open, but just covered? Or did you have them minimized?

We think this may be related to having the windows you do not want to see "minimized". In which case, there is a new setting that controls what it means to have a window "minimized". Refer to the following:
General Settings Window: MDI Child Window Minimize Method (List) (Global Settings >> General Settings >> GUI >> Multiple Document Interface (MDI) and Custom Title Bar Settings)

The default for this is "Minimize in Place", which we think is what you are seeing. Try setting this to "Hide Window" which actually completely removes the window as if the option for "Hide Window" were selected.

Let us know if this is not what you want, and/or it does not work for what you are doing.

But now every time I move between chartbooks, the 2 background windows move to the foreground over the 2 windows that I had set to be the foreground.

To solve this, adjust the order of these windows to become the highest in the list of Chart windows, in the Windows and Chartbooks list:
Window, CB and CW Menus: Windows and Chartbooks (Window)

The behavior you see now when switching Chartbooks is no different, than what you would see when you actually open the Chartbook when it is not already open.

To solve this, adjust the order of these windows to become the highest in the list of Chart windows, in the Windows and Chartbooks list:

Three of the windows are listed in the "Windows and Chartbooks" menu. Of the 3 windows listed, 1 of the windows I want to hide are there, and has been moved to the top. It is now hidden properly when I move between chartbooks. Thank you.

However, the spreadsheet window is not showing in that list of windows, so I can't change the order. Is there another way to change the order of the spreadsheets?

They are open, but just covered. They were not minimized.

This is for a spreadsheet window. The other regular chart window is staying hidden now by changing the display order.

I just tried setting the MDI Child Window mimize method to hide window, and also to minimize to bottom. Both just show up in the bottom left of the chartbook screen when I change to another chartbook and come back.

Is there something special about spreadsheet windows that need to be minimized/hidden differently?
