I have an account with AMP and switch back and froth between Denali and CQG - since this weekend I have been receiving an error message stating the following:
Historical Daily Data Download Failed Error downloading Historical Daily data for F.US.EPH26. Max Downloads per month exceeded. Downloads = 5004. Monthly limit: 5000
Did something change? This New? I have never had an issue like this prior?
What do I need to do to fix? If anything?

This is not a new item, but it may be the first time you are encountering it. You have hit the limit on the number of daily historical data downloads that you can have for the month. The limit is 5000, but you can pay for additional downloads. Although at this time, we would just recommend waiting until January 1, 2026, when this will reset.

Refer to the following:
https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=ServicesActivation#AdditionalHistoricalDownloads

Note that each time the system makes the request, whether or not data is downloaded, it counts towards this limit. So if you are changing the connection quite often, then this would lead to hitting the limit.

If you want to connect to two different services, we recommend having two separate installations of Sierra Chart. Refer to the following:

Thank you for the response, I had no idea about this. To be clear though this all goes back to square one on Jan 1st correct? Right now if I pull up a chart of the ES daily I have yesterday missing, will that data be complied back? I have done the delete data and recompile it all but still have days missing because of this problem

Yes, this will all reset on January 1, 2026. And any missing data would be filled back in when you start Sierra Chart for the first time after midnight (in UTC time) on January 1, 2026. If the data does not backfill for some reason after that, then selecting "Delete All Data and Download" will get it back.

You can not get the missing data prior to January 1, 2026 unless you pay for the additional downloads at the link given previously.

Thank you for clarifying this for me, I had zero idea and thank you for showing the link to increase the downloads - If I choose that option (50000 vs 5000) that data will be live as I have it currently correct?

If you set the option for the "Additional Historical Daily Data Downloads" to "50000 Additional Downloads" today (or tomorrow) then you will get the daily data that you are currently missing. But it will cost you $25.00 for this. You can then immediately set that option to "Disabled" so you do not pay for it again on January 1, 2026. If you forget to change it, then you will be charged again on January 1, 2026 for that option.

If you wait until January 1, 2026, then your number of downloads will reset to 0, and you will then be able to get any missing data without having to spend the extra money for the extra downloads.
