I have a question please about Trade and Current Quote Symbol ( Action ) why my first trade often stopped out by -2 Ticks ?
My Target is 100T and Stop 25 Ticks with Simple Bracket. I use AMP Futures with Teton CME Routing and Denali Data Feed. After my first trade all work fine with SC.
I use a 50 Trades or 25 Range Chart at GC.

We can not answer this question, as we do not have any insight into what occurred. You need to look at your Trade Activity Log and see what is shows for why that position was closed out where it was. Refer to the following:

Thank you very much, I figured it out. A daily loss limit had been set. It must have taken effect and consequently liquidated the trade. Unfortunately, I still haven’t understood the Global Profit/Loss Management, despite reading the help section multiple times and testing it in simulated trading. Does it actually work? If so, could you please just create a video explaining it?

It would be very helpful for me if I could set up a simple daily loss limit, and once that amount is reached, trading would be blocked for the rest of the day. However, this would need to apply to the micro market and not the regular market, since I am using Trade and Current Quote Symbol.

When using a "Trade and Current Quote Symbol", you need to make sure the "Currency Value per Tick" for that chart is set to the traded symbol. If that is set correctly, then the correct Profit/Loss will be used in the Global Profit/Loss Management tool. Refer to the following:
Chart Settings: Updating Currency Value per Tick for Trade Symbol

Thank you very much for the answers. I have a question regarding SI and SIL: what tick size should I set so that the correct ticks are displayed for the P/L?

SI and SIL both have the same tick size of 0.005. So regardless of which one you are using as the main symbol and which one is the Trade and Current Quote symbol the Tick Size should stay at 0.005.

You set the "Currency Value per Tick" for whichever symbol is the Trade and Current Quote symbol, as this is the symbol that is actually being traded.

I had placed two trades, with SI as the main symbol and SIL as the execution symbol. Together, both trades had a P&L of +31; however, AMP Futures credited me with $160. If the tick size were correct, it should have been $310 minus a few small exchange fees. Calculated from the starting price to the ending price at AMP Report, the $160 is correct, which means that Sierra Chart is displaying incorrect values. I Not think so it's all Slipage. So the Ticksize have to be wrong.

What is the Tick Size of that chart set to? What is the "Currency Value Per Tick" set to for that chart?

When you say you had a P&L of +31, is that ticks or points, or something else? What is "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Trading >> Profit/Loss Format" set to?

Where are you seeing the P&L of +31? Do you see the same value in both the Trade Window for the chart you traded and in the Trade Activity Log?

How do you come to a conclusion of a profit of $310 from 31 ticks? The Currency Value per Tick for SIL is $5.00. So 31 ticks would be a profit of $155.00.

Hello, thank you very much for the reply. I now understand where the problem was — the problem was sitting in front of the PC 😄. I always assumed that Micro Silver had a value of $10, but it is actually $5, so now it makes sense. On the CME website it shows $5, but when I check AMP Futures it shows $10, which is very confusing. I display it in ticks (T), which is correct.

https://www.cmegroup.com/markets/metals/precious/1000-oz-silver.contractSpecs.html <- 5$

https://www.ampfutures.com/trading-info/contract-specifications <- E-micro Silver  SIL  COMEX/CME  1,000 oz  F,H,K,N,U,V,X,Z  0.01 / $10.00

I understand it now — both are correct. I was just assuming an incorrect value myself.
