This is a question for the community. I'm just wondering if anyone has had success with connecting Sierra Chart to TopStepX. And if so, could they share their process? Thanks! |

Not supported. AFAIK, Topstep has a direct connection to CME and integrates it only with their own platform (TopstepX). Basically a similar situation as Sierrachart and Teton order routing which is only supported by SC and cannot be integrated on other platforms. Topstep supported Rithmic in the past and that is what was used to integrate with SierraChart, but from what I see on their website now, they stopped supporting Rithmic and by extension they only now support one platform (and order routing), their one and only, TopstepX. |

Thanks. Have you attempted to find a solution? I only ask because there's talk in their community that it should be possible, but no one seems to be able to explain how.

There is no solution to attempt. That propfirm stopped supporting Rithmic and hence no external platform can be used. The only possible solution is for users/traders/customers to contact them asking to have other platform supported (as they used to be in the past) instead of forcing everyone to use one single platform. I doubt they will change anything though. They seem to have poured a lot of investment into their platform in order to avoid the additional costs of supporting all the other datafeeds, which is an advantage for them but on the other hand, they will lose a lot of customers in the process and they now have a single point of failure, if their platform or datafeed go south .. they are F'd .. which I think happens everywhere all the time, including with SC itself. Globalism vs Nationalism/Protectionism/Populism ... Each of them will F us in different ways :) |

There are cloud based trade copiers such as TradeSyncer, you could use Sierra Chart/Rithmic based accounts as the leader with TopstepX/Project X connected as follower accounts.

Yes, I used the chart trading functionality to place orders on Sierra Chart against Apex accounts via the Chart DOM and modifications on working orders using limit/stop chart lines by dragging to the desired price level.. all worked fine with low latency under normal conditions when connected to TopstepX.

There's a SierraChart to ProjectX copier called SierraStep that uses the ProjectX API. I haven't tried it, yet, though.
