how do you change the margins on the chart. I don’t want the candles to go past a certain point on the chart

For the top and bottom, there is a setting called "Scale Padding Percentage" and there is a "Default Scale Padding Percentage". Refer to the following and item below it: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Scale Padding Percentage (Scale Settings) This will keep a certain buffer (margin) at the top and bottom as long as you do not change the position of the chart. But once you change the location, everything shifts, so you would need to reset the scales to get back to your default padding percentage. You can also set a "margin" on the right side of the chart using the "Lock Fill Space" option. Refer to the following: Chart Menu: Lock Fill Space (Chart menu) There is no way to get a "margin" on the left side of the chart. https://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1764700644839.png I tried following the instructions for the lock fill space, but I just wanted to add a screenshot so you can see what I'm trying to accomplish. i don't want the candles to exceed where i have the arrow at because it proceeds to interfere with the Volume and delta profiles on my chart |

Then the Lock Fill Space is the correct option to use. You just set the last bar in the chart to where you want it to be, and then select "Chart >> Lock Fill Space". It's as simple as that. The only thing to be aware of is that the spacing is based on a number of candles. So if you change the bar spacing, the location of the Lock Fill Space will change.
