Explicitly disconnected SC tries to reconnect

I am using the IBKR gateway.
I have explicitly disconnected SC from the gateway, i.e. File >> Disconnect

While SC is disconnected. when the IBKR gateway executes its daily reconnect cycle, SC then tries to reconnect to the gateway.

I do have
Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Common Settings >> Reconnect On Failure = YES

But this should only apply if SC was CONNECTED during the "failure", not if it was deliberately disconnected.

Check the following settings and see if this is causing the reconnection you are seeing:
Advanced Service Settings: Reconnect (Global Settings >> Advanced Service Settings)

Global Settings >> Advanced Service Settings >> Reconnect >> Reconnect Daily = NO

This should cause the rest of the settings in this section to be ignored.

Note that the daily reconnect I mentioned in my original post is the reconnect that is configured in the IBKR Gateway, not in SC!
