I intend to set an alert for the “Bar Duration” variable in the “Numbers Bars Calculated Values” study. Specifically, I would like to hear an alert sound when the value of the “Bar Duration” variable in the study for the closed candle is less than 3 seconds. To achieve this, I entered the condition SG30 < 3 in the Alerts tab. However, this condition does not produce the desired alert. My understanding is that Sierra Chart may be interpreting one second as a different numerical value. Could you please advise what adjustment I should make to the alert condition so that it functions as intended (i.e., triggers when the closed candle’s Bar Duration value in the Numbers Bars Calculated Values table is less than 3 seconds)? |
