I have a developer of custom SC studies telling me that I should be able to run the x86 version (non-ARM version of SC) on Parallels. I tried this about a year ago and my platform became very unreliable until it finally crashed. SC support at that time told me it was b/c I was using the non-ARM version of SC with Parallels. Has something changed that now allows us to use the non-ARM version of SC with Parallels?

Is this a Mac? And what type of processor does the computer have? If it is an ARM processor normally we would think that you would have to run the ARM version, but based upon what we have been hearing, the X64 version of Sierra Chart will run fine on ARM processors. Our recommendation is to use the X64 (Non-ARM) version of Sierra Chart and see how this works. Possibly at the time you had an issue, there was a specific problem why you ran into the instability that you did, and if it is the problem that we think at the time, that issue is now resolved. I have a macbook M3. If I switch to the x64 version, I assume all my current user files on the ARM version will also transfer over? |

Yes, the Chartbooks are compatible between the X64 version and the ARM version.
