I wanted to start looking at GC, etc and am seeing no data come in. I believe I have the right packages and permissions. Maybe an additional exchange agreement is needed? Please advise.

You have the following exchange active: - CME with Market Depth for Non-Professional Trading Accounts. Gold (GC) is traded on the COMEX exchange, which you do not have active. Therefore you would need to add or change the exchanges in order to get what you want. We do not know any other way to title it that would make it better. The point is that that is where you go to activate/deactivate exchanges for the CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, and NYMEX). If we were to use "CME Group", then people would think the same thing, that they have the entire CME Group.
