Hello SC Support Team,

I am attempting to create a custom symbol displaying the spread between the SPX cash market and the current ES futures contract. I have subscribed and agreed to the CBOE data to receive the SPX_CGI symbol real-time. I have also done the same with the CME futures through Denali feed to receive real-time futures data for ESZ25_FUT_CME. I believe DTN IQ Feed does have a symbol that shows this but I am trying to replicate it with my current data subscriptions. I have been trying to follow the instructions on Custom Calculated Symbols but I get a blank chart in the end.

I have attached a picture of my current symbol settings and a picture of the IQ symbol description of what I am trying to replicate. Essentially the difference between the cash market and the futures. Please let me know what other information you need or how I can achieve my desired result.

Thank you.

Please get us an image of the chart by following these instructions:

We know it seems odd to ask for a blank chart, but there are some items that we can get information from.

Thank you for the response, however I believe the problem may be fixed simply after I restarted SC. Next time I opened it up the data populated. I have attached a screenshot of the chart. Based on what I am looking for, this seems right but I am unsure if I did the formula correctly.

The formula is correct as long as you are connected to the Teton CME Routing service. If you change that service, then the symbol for ES will be different (and the Custom Calculated Symbol will not be present, as it was associated with the Teton service), so you would need to redo the Custom Calculated Symbol.
