Hi, I just re-set sierra to work after some time of not using it, so it might be some configuration I'm missing. I'm using crossover over mac. Updated sierra to lates. Set to trading evaluator. Created sim account. Tried to issue trade order. The trades appear on the chart for a fraction of a second then disappear. They show in the "Trade Orders" window as "Error". Message log is empty. Trade service log is empty. What am I missing? Thanks. |

With regards to the Message Log and Trade Service Log being empty, this was due to a change in a recent release that has been fixed, but you need to go to the "Global Settings >> Message Categories" and set all the options you want to see in your logs to "Yes" (it is easiest to set them all to "Yes" for right now and make changes later). Then get us your "Trade Service Log" so we can see what information is in there with regards to the trading error. Thanks for your reply. I was unaware of this new feature for message filters. It wasn't there last time I used Sierra. Now that I enabled them, I managed to figure out the issue. It was the margin requirements from the trading evaluator service. I'm all set now. Thanks. |
