For version 10.40 of the TWS API, IBKR writes in the release notes: "Beginning with Trader Workstation and IB Gateway 10.40, the Global Configuration -> API -> Setting will provide a new setting, "Maintain and resubmit orders when connection is restored." This setting will automatically maintain or resubmit orders on the platform after a network disconnect or following the auto-restart behavior." link: https://ibkrguides.com/releasenotes/api.htm Can you please comment if this setting has any implications on the use of the API with SierraChart? |

We do not see why that setting would cause any issues when Sierra Chart is used with TWS: Can you please comment if this setting has any implications on the use of the API with SierraChart? Also we have no understanding about that option at all or what exactly it is doing even though it is expressing something. It makes completely no sense to us. Just sounds like more Interactive Brokers nonsense to us. What on earth does that mean. The server is always going to be maintaining, orders whether the connection is lost or not. What is the purpose of such a setting. It would seem meaningless to us. Does it mean it is going to resubmit an order, if it did not get submitted because subsequently the connection was determined to be lost after order submission, but before the order was accepted.
