Hello SC Support,

When I do Edit > Export Bar and study data to text file, it generates the text file only with these columns in bold below. I have about 35 studies in my collection all visible on the chart. I also have all my simulated trade fills visible on chart. Many of those studies are also in Chart region 2 and 3.

Even if I add "Write Bar and Study data to file" study, it does not export any of my custom study subgraph values.

Date, Time, Open, High, Low, Last, Volume, # of Trades, OHLC Avg, HLC Avg, HL Avg, Bid Volume, Ask Volume, 9.APL

Could you please help me figure out why this feature is not working (it has never ever worked for me in last 3-4 years) ?

Edit: "Write Bar and Study data to file" study exports studies from the main chart region only and ignores chart region 2 and 3.

Apart from hidden studies or subgraphs that are set to Hidden/Ignore, you should be getting the data exported in the file.

Please get us a chart that shows this issue by following these instructions:

Thanks John. I did some more digging and now Edit > Export Bar and study data is working fine for all studies in all chart regions. I think there is an edge case that is problematic but I could be wrong and certainly not worth your time to investigate further.

The "Write Bar and Study data to file" study also works but only if it is the LAST study in the study collection otherwise it won't export any spreadsheet formula study values in Chart Region 2+. You might want to update the documentation found here >> Write Bar and Study Data To File
