ZS Symbol – Incorrect Session Times When Switching via Quote Boa

Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with the ZS (Soybean Futures) symbol. When switching to ZS from the Quote Board, the chart consistently loads incorrect intraday session times — defaulting to 00:00–23:59:59 — even though I’ve configured the chart to use the Evening Session setting. This doesn't occur with other symbols; most load correct session times automatically. I suspect the problem may be related to how Sierra Chart handles Global Symbol Settings or overrides during Quote Board symbol switching. Could you please clarify what might be causing this issue and how to ensure the ZS chart respects the correct CBOT trading hours when selected from the Quote Board? It doesn't matter how you are changing the symbol, the point is that the symbol is changing, and that will reset the Session Times to what is set in the Symbol Settings for that symbol. The best solution is to change the symbol settings such that the Session Times are set as you want them. Note that the "Time Zone" setting in the Symbol Settings is the time zone definition for the Session Times. So these need to match up. That Time Zone is not used for anything else. Refer to the following: Global Symbol Settings: Instructions Another option, although not recommended, is to set the option for "Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Do Not Change Symbol Settings for Chart On Symbol Change".
