It doesn't matter how you are changing the symbol, the point is that the symbol is changing, and that will reset the Session Times to what is set in the Symbol Settings for that symbol. The best solution is to change the symbol settings such that the Session Times are set as you want them. Note that the "Time Zone" setting in the Symbol Settings is the time zone definition for the Session Times. So these need to match up. That Time Zone is not used for anything else.
