How to turn off Trade Simulation?

This is my first day trading. I keep manually turning off Trade Simulation Mode under the TRADE menu, but when I try to place a live trade, it won't allow me to do this --Trade Simulation Mode keeps coming back on automatically.
My trading firm informs me that I am all set up on their end, and this is a Sierra Chart issue. Please advise.

This means that you are not properly connected to your trading service. Therefore, there is no service to connect to, and Trade Simulation Mode kicks in.

What broker/trading service are you using? Once we know this, then we can point you to the proper instructions to connect your Sierra Chart to that broker/service.
For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service:

AMP Trading.
Under their options, I selected "Sierra Chart - Denali - CQG. (No Data, Order Routing Only)"

To begin with, you selected to use our Denali Exchange Data Feed (which you have to in order to get data for The CME Group and EUREX, as we do not support that data from CQG). But you have not setup the data yet. Follow these instructions to setup the data for the CME Group:
Denali Exchange Data Feed: *Setup Instructions: CME/CBOT/NYMEX/COMEX Exchanges*

After you have that done, then you can connect to your CQG account by following these instructions:
CQG Trading Platform Service: Setup Instructions

Once both of the above are done, then you will be getting your real-time data from us and trading with CQG. When you select "Trade >> Trade Simulation Mode On" to disable it, it will then properly disable and your trades will go to CQG.

Thank you for your help. I set up the Denali Exchange Data Feed, and then, instead of connecting to AMP using CQG I decided to switch to Teton, since that is what Sierra recommends. I am told that I should be up and running with Teton by tomorrow. Thanks again.
