DTC Protocol Server Stuck in Read-Only — Cannot Submit Orders via Bot

I'm trying to configure order routing to Sierra Chart via the DTC Protocol Server (port 11099), using SubmitNewSingleOrder messages. The server is reachable, and my external client is connecting successfully, but order submissions are being ignored.

As you can see from the attached settings screenshot, the DTC Protocol Server is showing “Listening (Read Only): Yes”, despite having “Allow Trading” explicitly set to Yes. This seems contradictory — I would expect “Read Only” to be No if trading is allowed.

I’ve tried both Sim1 and a connected live account from my broker (Clear Edge). In both cases, the server accepts login and symbol requests, but trade orders are not acknowledged or filled.

Can you confirm:

Are my settings correct for enabling write access to the DTC server?

Should the “Read Only” flag be showing “No” when “Allow Trading” is enabled?

Is there anything on your end that needs to be enabled to allow order submission via DTC?

When you see read-only it just means the setting is read-only.

This means you are doing something wrong:
but order submissions are being ignored.

Maybe you did not login. And we definitely would strongly recommend to enable authentication.

What is the encoding that you are using?

Your settings generally look correct, but we do not know what you are doing on the client side.

No definitely not.
