How can i set vertical lines to appear on specific calendar dates/parts. For example a line to automatically show the start of every Week, Month, Quarter, Year ?
For use in long term Volume bar charts.

Also, any solution to highlight a date range for example, highlight Wednesdays?

Thanks

Refer to the Vertical Grid to start:
Chart Settings: Show Vertical Grid (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Grid >> Show Vertical Grid menu)

Also refer to the "Date Time Line" study:
Date-Time Line

To highlight a time range, refer to the following for a start:

A more generalized way to do what you want is to use the "Color Background Based on Alert Condition" study. You would need to create an alert condition that covers the time frame you want. For instance, to get all bars that are on Wednesday, you would use the following alert condition:
=WEEKDAY(BARDATE) = 4

Refer to the following:

For example the Time-Line study Can be set to show a line for every Monday at the week open at specific time Automatically.

However, We have no option to set it in a way to show a line at the opening of Month or Quarter Automatically !?

Can you add this option please?

Thank you.

The Vertical Grid can be set to every Month. The general concept we gave to use the "Color Bar Based on Alert Condition" can do what you want.

We take all requests, but we cannot say when we would get to any particular item.

Here is the documentation for the Vertical grid:
Chart Menu: Vertical Grid (Chart menu)

So this is already supported.

We will add support for Quarters.

Thank you for support.

Also, If we have it on time-line study we can Label, thicken and color the lines individually.

No, this is definitely not possible to do with the Vertical Grid and would not be supported.

Not the Vertical-Grid, I meant within ( Time Line Study ) which is already got the functions except for longer term.

Time Line Study just need tweaks to support Week, Month, Quarter, Year.
