Hi, I am having a problem with the market depth data. It appears in my chart only from a certain time (20:00 Brussells, 14:00 New York). I tried to change bar period, session times, premarket session on/off, delete and re-download market depth data, restarting the program, checking global depth settings. Nothing worked. Thank you so much for helping because I tried absolutely everything. |

Make sure you have gone through the items at the following link to allow your system to get the historical Market Depth data. In particular, step #8 for how to download data that is not automatically downloaded: Market Depth Historical Graph: Downloading Of Historical Market Depth Data For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Hi John, thank you. I followed all those steps. I even played with my PC clock time. I tested old installations of Sierra Chart where I did not had the problem. Market depth is only downloading (historical) or appearing (real time) from 14:00 to 20:00, while the rest of the chart appears normally. To make it clear, Market depth appears, but only at certain times. Why?

How are you viewing the Market Depth data? Are you using the Market Depth Historical Graph? If you are using the Market Depth Historical Graph, then set the Input for "Show Quantity Numbers" to be "In Bars" and then the Input for "Use Secondary Numbers Color For Quantities Greater Than or Equal To" to a value of "1". Then set the "Secondary Numbers Color for Quantities Greater Than or Equal To" to a color that will stand out for your chart. With the above setup, you will be view the data more specifically, as sometimes the block coloring is not noticeable when you are viewing times of low market depth compared to other times. Please get us an image of the above showing the area where you are not seeing the market depth. Be sure to include the other ends so we can see the Market Depth before and after the missing area. Hi John thank you. Today same thing, problem happens with _MBO or -NQTV stocks, not with CME or COMEX futures. I followed your instructions but as you see I mainly use Bid/ Ask depth bars and is clear when they appear or not. I attach the chart where Bid/ Ask bars appear at 14:00. Same happens with market depth historical graph. In the hourly chart you can see that the problem started the day 16th of this month.

We think we know what the problem. It relates to the server clock issue from May 15. We will clean up the faulty depth data tonight.
