Hello, My message log in sierra charts has been continuously showing data related errors after I downgraded the Sierra charts version. It doesn't pop these errors in the latest version but I am obliged to use the old version, as my broker is TT and it only works with the older version for order punching. Please let me know what could be the issue. Thanks |

You can still use the latest version of Sierra Chart for TT order routing. To resolve that particular error message you do need to update to the latest version or do not use symbols which are using the delayed data feed. The issue that comes with latest version of sierra is that global symbol settings won't update on chart, I have already selected "Use custom symbol settings" but none of the changes are reflecting on the backtesting. Refer to the SS attached.

The image you provided is blank. Keep in mind that changes to the Symbol Settings may not reflect on existing charts, depending on what item(s) in particular you have changed. What are the symbol settings that you changed that you are looking to see reflected in a chart? I am trying to change it on "CL:BZ N24-Q24.CL.FUT_SPREAD.NYMEX" and it changes in older version but not in latest version. Please check the attached SS for the same. |
