Single Prints Not Printing and Extending - Full/Partial

Hello, my understanding is that single print extenstions will print at the end of each session and extend until future intersection. However, it seems its not doing this similar to what others have experienced, even the partially filled single print. New feature for single prints displayed as an area not working properly? I'd like to confirm if this has been addressed? before I do my upgrades to the most recent stable version. Because reviewing the release notes I cannot find any details around this from my version (2624) to the most current one. Thank you very much.
