I have not looked at it but is the comparison bid/ask as such (i.e diagonally as bid/Ask are obvioulsy not on the same price level)? Not too sure why delta can't be calculated for diagonal calcs? I assume what it does at the moment is Sum of bid - Sum of ask (substraction of sum of each column). Why coul't it be calculatd where delta is calculated at each level of real bid/Ask and then add each delta to give the whole bar delta? Obvioulsy extreme at bottom and top wld either need to be left out or calculated using previous and following bar extreme up and down, but this could be done and make as much sense as it does now, at least on a logical point of view.
