Order Fill Billing

Introduction

It is supported when using the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service, that for certain supported clearing firms/brokers, to have the order fill fees billed directly to your trading account instead of paying through your own Sierra Chart account.

This is the .10 USD per contract per side fee whenever there is an order fill.

The instructions to enable this functionality and disable it are explained below.

Enabling Order Fill Billing to Trade Account

Follow the instructions below to request that order fills through the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service be billed to your trading account, if supported.

1. First it is necessary to have a live trading account assigned to your Sierra Chart account. For more information, refer to the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service Setup Instructions.
2. Go to the Trading Accounts page. If the login form is displayed, you will first need to log into your Sierra Chart account.
3. On that page, the live trading accounts will be listed. If this feature is supported for the live trading account, you will see a Request Order Fill Billing through My Trading Account button on the row for the trading account. Press this button.
4. You will be taken to another page to confirm the request. Press the Confirm button. Your clearing firm will be notified about the request and they can either confirm or reject.

Disabling Order Fill Billing to Trade Account

Follow the instructions below to disable that order fills through the Sierra Chart Order Routing Service be billed to your trading account.

1. Go to the Trading Accounts page. If the login form is displayed, you will first need to log into your Sierra Chart account.
2. On that page, the live trading accounts will be listed. If this feature is supported for the live trading account, you will see a Request to disable order fill billing through my Trading Account button on the row for the trading account. Press this button.
3. You will be taken to another page to confirm the request. Press the Confirm button. Your clearing firm will be notified about this change. The order fill billing will be immediately transferred back to your own Sierra Chart account where you will pay for them directly through your Sierra Chart account.
